Official Results from Round 5 of the National Provincial Championship (NPC) 2023 on Thursday 6th April last week at Lakapi Samoa Fields, Tuanaimato.

Round 5:

Senior A:

• Match 1: Palauli & Itumalo defeated Atua i Saute by default.
• Match 2: Alalagafa defeated Anoamaa 36-31 is a close match.
• Match 3:  1st Half Trial Match – Manuma Samoa played Aleipata 17-0. 2nd Half Trial Match – Manuma Samoa played Vailima Faleata 17-0.

Under20s:

• Match 1: Taula Vaimauga U20s defeated Aleipata U20s 28-21 to snatch a spot in the U20s Final.
• Match 2: Palauli & Itumalo U20s defeated Atua i Saute U20s 21-14 
• Match 3: Vailima Faleata U20s defeated Anoamaa U20s 30-5

Round 6: NPC FINALS

After five rounds of NPC provincial rugby in a condensed and competitive schedule, only two teams are left standing and advance to the NPC Grand Final: TAULA VAIMAUGA vs VAILIMA FALEATA

No one could have scripted it better, two auld arch rivals battling it out for provincial supremacy and the first to hoist the President’s Shield as Champions of Samoan provincial rugby. 

In the U20s competition, Palauli & Itumalo will face Taula Vaimauga for the U20’s Presidents Shield.

So don’t miss out and head on down to St Joseph’s College Fields – Alafua this weekend Saturday 15th April 2023 and support your provincial team.
