The match will provide an early glimpse into the form and strategies of Manusina as they gear up for the upcoming WXV2 competition in October.

“We are grateful for the opportunity provided by NZR to have a fixture against a Black Ferns XV, which will no doubt feature up and coming Black Fern potential players together with current or former Black Ferns. Much like what NZR are wanting to do in terms of building their pathways, we see this game as a key build up as we finalise a team to travel to South Africa for the WXV 2 competition in Cape Town in October, where we will play 4 test matches including 2 against South Africa.”
